Image of Separate/Same

Separate/Same is Three Day Flight's second full length album. Lyrically, the songs explore the theme of interconnectedness, transcendent Love, and what Thomas Merton refers to as "waking from a dream of separateness, of spurious self-isolation" to a "sense of liberation from an illusory difference". Musically, the songs feature mesmerizing melodies, hauntingly harmonizing vocals, and atypical arrangements of various wind instruments, piano, drums and percussion, acoustic and electric guitars, electric and fretless bass, etc.
